Did You Know?

Each year, B. R. Guest Restaurants donates approximately 1.2 million dollars to national and local charities.

When the Tsunami hit in December 2004, we raised $162,000 which we donated to the International Red Cross to help aid the victims. We also raised $78,000 for Hurricane Katrina Relief.

B. R. Guest Restaurants feeds 55,000 people a week throughout all 15 of our restaurants. However, as a leader in the hospitality industry, we believe that this is not enough. Why?

This year alone:
1.6 million New Yorkers will turn to soup kitchens or food pantries this year for their meals, including 500,000 children and 300,000 elderly.

32% must choose between paying for food or paying for utilities or heating fuel.
26% must choose between paying for food or paying their rent or mortgage bill.
27% must choose between paying for food and paying for medicine or medical care.
31% are in poor health.

Over twenty years, B. R. Guest Restaurants has grown from one restaurant and one man to 15 successful multi-concept restaurants and a team of approximately 2,500 dedicated employees. Without the support of our community, we would not be where we are today. This is why it is our mission to give back to the very community that has supported us so greatly throughout the years.

As a company that revolves its livelihood around food, we can't bear to see anyone go hungry. That said, B. R. Guest Restaurants' main philanthropic focus has long been the fight against hunger. Our company has dedicated countless hours to several hunger-based organizations on both the local and national level.
